ASQA links a complete list of all publicly available Tribunal and Court reasons for decisions involving ASQA, in order to:
ASQA only links Tribunal and Court decisions which are made publicly available by the particular Tribunal (such as the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) under the Administrative Appeals Tribunal Act 1975) or Court (such as the Federal Court under the Federal Court of Australia Act 1976).
These links are directed to decisions published on the Australian Legal Information Institute (AustLII) website www.austlii.edu.au in accordance with AustLII's Linking Policy.
Someone who is dissatisfied with a decision made by ASQA may seek review of that decision in the AAT, or contest that decision in court proceedings in certain circumstances.
The AAT ensures that ASQA is accountable for its decisions and actions. The AAT may review certain decisions made by ASQA under Division 1, Part 9 of the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2011.
