ASQA's decision—renewal of CRICOS registration

After the site audit has been conducted, a recommendation is made to the responsible ASQA delegate.

The recommendation is about the applicant's compliance with the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 (ESOS Act), the National Code, and where relevant, the English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS) National Standards.

Based on the evidence provided, the delegate will make a decision about your application and you will be advised in writing of the outcome and provided with a copy of the audit report.

The audit report will outline the audit findings identifying compliance or non-compliance with legislative requirements and relevant standards.

If your application is approved

ASQA will update the relevant information on Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).

If your application is rejected

ASQA will write to you, explaining the reasons for the decision and your options.
