Construction Induction (White) card
Construction induction training
Some occupations require a construction induction card (commonly known as a ‘white card’). These requirements are put in place by the Australian government, or state and territory government authorities.
Usually a white card is issued after you complete a general induction training course (currently CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry). The cards are issued through a state or territory licensing body. A list of licensing bodies is below.
If you want to complete the general induction training course please visit Your Career. Your Career helps you find a registered training organisation (RTO) which offers the course.
Replacement white cards
We don’t issue or replace white cards. Contact your state or territory licensing body to find out if they can replace your card. If you need to show you’ve already completed the construction induction course, we may be able to provide records of your training (see our Student records page for more information).
