2014–2016 TEQSA & ASQA MOU signed
In 2011 TEQSA and ASQA signed a Memorandum of Understanding based on an agreement to collaborate in identifying and implementing streamlined procedures in the regulation of providers registered with both national regulators. A range of initiatives have been implemented as a result of that MOU – the setting up of the CRICOS clearing house for dual sector providers, an agreed process for the implementation of joint renewal of registration processes for dual sector providers, an agreed set of information sharing protocols and collaboration in response to many government policy reviews.
The 2014-2016 MOU (PDF) has been signed and signifies a continued commitment to this collaboration and co-operation between the two agencies. This MOU has a specific focus on supporting the Government’s initiatives to reduce unnecessary or duplicative regulation.
