ASQA webinars in December – ASQA fees and charges, change of ownership, initial application

The Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) will host several webinars in December 2019 and invites you to register to attend.

These free online events are part of ASQA’s commitment to helping the vocational education and training (VET) sector understand some of the important issues and changes it is currently facing.

Webinar: Proposed changes to ASQA fees and charges 2020-21

ASQA has begun consultation with the VET sector on proposed measures to support our transition to full cost recovery from 2020-21. This webinar will discuss some key aspects of the proposal and address some subjects that have been raised in stakeholder feedback to date. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions.

Webinar: New guidance on change of ownership obligations

This webinar is suitable for training providers who are considering significant changes to, or sale of, their shareholdings and any person or provider looking to acquire shares of a training provider. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions.

Webinar: Initial application for RTOs and CRICOS

This webinar is suitable for people who are considering applying to become a registered training organisation (RTO) and/or a Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) provider with ASQA and wish to understand the requirements for registration and the application process. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions.
