New Deputy Chief Commissioner announced

The Assistant Minister for Vocational Education and Skills, the Hon Karen Andrews MP, has today announced the appointment of Ms Saxon Rice as ASQA’s new Deputy Chief Commissioner.
Ms Rice was the Assistant Minister for Technical and Further Education in the former Queensland Government from 2012 to 2015, and has since held senior management roles and been a member of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal since 2016. She will commence with ASQA on 16 April.
Ms Rice will replace Deputy Chief Commissioner Michael Lavarch whose appointment comes to an end in April.
