Reminder—new application process for course accreditation

ASQA recently announced an update to our process for initial accreditation of a vocational education and training (VET) course. This is a reminder that the new application process will apply from 1 April 2019.

What’s changing?

If you’re applying to accredit a new VET course, from 1 April 2019:

• You will need to submit the new VET course concept form in the early stages of the application process to show that you have planned appropriate consultation with industry stakeholders.
• ASQA will not accept your application for initial accreditation unless the VET course concept form has been submitted and noted.
