Survey result show continued satisfaction
The results of ASQA’s annual survey of training providers for 2016-17 show continued satisfaction with the regulator’s efforts to maintain quality in the training sector.
All ASQA-regulated training providers were invited to participate in the survey, which was conducted in late-July. A total of 2353 training providers responded, a response rate of 60%.
ASQA’s communications with the regulated community achieved the highest levels of satisfaction with 80 per cent or more of survey respondents rating the regulator’s fact sheets, frequently asked questions, general directions, newsletter, videos and website as either excellent or good.
Satisfaction rates for ASQA’s Info Line and email enquiries service were also high, with 70% or more of survey respondents rating the service provided as excellent or good.
When asked to rate ASQA’s efforts to promote and encourage continuous improvement of training providers 80% of survey respondents answered excellent or good, while 77% rated ASQA’s overall performance as a regulator as excellent or good.
The survey also identifies area where training providers would like ASQA to improve. In recent years feedback received through the annual survey has been used to enhance application processing procedures, redevelop the ASQA website and change call and email handling practices to provide a more personalised service to providers making an enquiry.
