Ministerial Statement of Expectations and ASQA’s Statement of Intent

The Hon Brendan O’Connor MP, Minister for Skills and Training, provided ASQA with a Statement of Expectations (SOE) on 18 July 2023. The SOE outlines Minister O’Connor’s expectations of ASQA as a best-practice regulator. 

In line with the Regulator Performance Guide, ASQA has responded to these expectations and provided Minister O’Connor with a Statement of Intent. The Statement of Intent outlines how ASQA intends to meet the Minister’s expectations and refers to our key priorities.

We will include reporting against this Statement of Expectations in accordance with our Statement of Intent in future annual reports.
