Request for shorter renewal application lodgement period

The NVR and ESOS Acts stipulate that a fully paid registration renewal application must be made at least 90 days prior to expiry; or a shorter time which ASQA allows.

This form is a formal request to ASQA to allow a shorter period to submit an application for renewal of registration. If allowed, you must submit the application and pay all associated fees in the time that ASQA allows.

My organisation

What type of provider is your organisation?

My reason

You must demonstrate that there is an acceptable reason for the delay. A reason is generally acceptable if it is outside your control.

Please provide documentary evidence to support your explanation for the delay. For example, medical or death certificates, evidence of a declaration of a natural disaster. (Note that requests which are supported by evidence are more likely to be approved).

Student Enrolments

Please complete the 'Delivery Data Summary' tab of the Delivery Data and Student Survey Data Template and attach it to your request. This must be completed even if your organisation does not have any students currently enrolled.

Impacts if application is not allowed

I acknowledge

I am the nominated chief executive officer or principal executive officer of the organisation identified above, or I am authorised by that person to make this request.

ASQA has sent renewal application reminder emails to my organisation’s registered contact details at 12, 6 and 4 months prior to expiry.

If my request is allowed, I will be given asqanet access for no more than five working days in which to submit my organisation’s renewal application and pay all associated fees. I accept that ASQA cannot commit to achieve its published service standard to finalise assessment of my application prior to my expiry date.

If my request is not allowed, I will be notified of options available to seek a review of the decision.
