Moving and staying online – feedback loop webinar
Thursday 2 December 2021, 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm (AEDT)
Join us for a discussion of the early insights from the Strategic Review of Online Learning in the vocational education and training (VET) sector. Since the review commenced in late 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic catalysed activity in the online space, we have found that increased online delivery is a trend that is set to continue as we move and stay online. For this 4th feedback loop webinar in our Strategic Review, ASQA’s Kipley Nink will share insights based on this theme, including updates on our insights paper series, as well as practical suggestions from students, providers and the regulator on the shift to online learning.
Following this update, our panel will discuss their experiences of delivering quality VET online. We will see presentations from ASQA’s Judith Keller, on some of the online resources that have been developed over the past 18 months. VET education consultant, Deniese Cox will discuss tips that students have shared on what does and does not work well for VET delivered online and Rachelle Matousek, CEO of Opportune Professional Development will share insights from their experiences of transitioning training to online delivery. We will then jump to a live Q&A session hosted by ASQA’s Sharon Waitzer, with our three panellists.
