Fees and charges relief

ASQA is waiving some fees and charges for:

VET providers and accredited course owners until 1 July 2022
ELICOS-only providers until 31 December 2022

The introduction of ASQA’s full cost recovery will be deferred a further 6 months to 1 July 2022.

Do superseded qualifications contribute to the cost of annual registration charges and renewal of registration fees?

If you have a new equivalent qualification on your scope of registration as well as the superseded product, these products will only be counted once for the purpose of calculating fees and charges related to annual registration and renewal of registration. The superseded product will not add to the cost.

Why are CRICOS fees different to RTO fees?

ASQA's fees reflect the cost of conducting regulatory activities for the vocational education and training (VET) sector. CRICOS providers and registered training organisations are subject to different standards and legislative frameworks. Differences between ASQA’s fees for CRICOS providers and RTOs reflect the relative complexity involved in performing the associated regulatory activities.
