Scope of Registration

RTOs now need to be in operation for 24 months before they can apply to change their scope of registration. This allows ASQA to review new RTOs to ensure they have met their obligations and have delivered a high standard of VET before expanding their scope of registration.  

Transition arrangements  

RTOs that submitted an application to ASQA to change their scope of registration before the day the Act came into force will still have their applications processed, even if they are within their first 24 months of registration.
